Vivian can sit on her own using her hands to help balance. I take them both to a music play group on Thursdays and I noticed that Vivian is really getting into it more and more. When we first started going she would sleep in her car seat the whole time and now she sits between my legs and smiles. It's really quite amazing how things change in the matter of months.

Vivian: Week 20 - Exercise time

Vivian: Week 19 - Here comes the sun
The sun is out but unfortunately so are the bugs. Luckily I stumbled upon a neat little sun/bug shield for Vivian's car seat. We have been spending a lot of time at the downtown parks but unfortunately Vivian can't come out of her car seat unless we find some good shade. She isn't old enough to wear sunscreen yet. Even in the car seat she still manages to attract lots of attention, mostly from preteen girls at the park who find her 'adorable'.
I have really noticed that Vivian can pick out our voices lately. Whenever she hears her daddy or brother come in the room she perks right up and stares at them with her big blue eyes. She is sleeping less and less during the days lately, but still getting a solid 12 hours at night so no complaints here!
She sure loves being naked. I let her wiggle around for a bit in her crib.
"Get out of my photo Adrian!"

Vivian: Week 18 - Attitude
What a week we have had with all of the wedding festivities. Vivian charmed many a wedding guest I am sure and received a lot of attention. She was not impressed today when she was back to her swing and crib for naps instead of resting comfortably in somebody's arms.
Vivian is starting to really play with her toys lately. Of course what she really wants to do is chew on my fingers for some odd reason but I try to give her a toy instead. I don't even want to think about where my hands are in the run of a day while I am taking care of Adrian! She is very drooly and even has a little rash on her chin from it so maybe those elusive teeth are on their way after all.
Oh Happy Day!
What a weekend we had. Brian and Tracey's wedding was perfect and we had so much fun the entire weekend that we are just starting to recover now. I was a busy mommy as I was trying to take care of 2 kids (with lots and lots of help thankfully), be a good bridesmaid and MC on top of that. So needless to say I didn't get a whole lot of pictures but the photographer did so hopefully we will have more someday soon. Adrian was oh so adorable in his suit and Vivian was a vision in her little dresses. We were out until almost midnight and Adrian danced up a storm with anyone who would 'dance' with him. (Meaning carry him while dancing.) What a great time!
The wedding was beautiful and I am so proud of my little brother and his gorgeous new wife. I hope they are having a spectacular time in Italy right now. I am not jealous at all. I swear. (- ;
