Adrian had a relaxed Halloween and spent most of it in his swing watching the trick or treaters come and go. He is looking forward to next year when he can get into the candy too!
I know I keep saying it but it is just so amazing how quickly the little guy grows and changes. I swear he looks different just from the past week. Daddy can even see changes when he comes home from a few days away on business. If possible I swear he is getting cuter!
Well we had another busy weekend. Mondays are Mommy and Adrian's day to relax. He has been sleeping all day! Saturday Grammie and Grampie were in town for a visit and kept Adrian very entertained. Sunday Brian and Tracey stopped in for a visit and then we went with Nanny to our cousin Lilly's 2nd birthday party. There were so many toddlers there; it's hard to believe that Adrian will be in that stage next year this time! We then went to Nanny and Grampie's for Sunday dinner and a visit. Adrian didn't sleep a wink from Sunday morning until about 8PM Sunday night so he was rather fussy and overtired by the time we got him home. But once he fell asleep he was out for good and is still sleeping now. Oh well, what better way to spend a snowy Monday afternoon than taking a nap!?!

10 weeks - my first needles
Brrr.... it's getting cold out there! Adrian and Mommy are trying to keep warm by bundling up in extra clothes and I don't know about him but I am still cold! But it makes for good cuddling which Adrian sure loves.
This week was Adrian's 2 month doctor's visit. He sure is growing... gained another 2lbs and 2 inches last month. He is up to 13lbs 12oz. I guess that's what eating every 2 hours around the clock will do for you!! Adrian got 3 needles at his appointment and was a brave boy, much braver than Mommy actually. She had to sit down while Daddy comforted him. The first one took him by surprise and he didn't cry but he sure made up for it on the second and third needle. But he only cried until we got back to the house and he nursed himself to sleep and that was pretty much the end of the whole ordeal.
We will be staying home for Halloween to give out treats to the local kids. We would love some trick or treaters if anyone is in the neighbourhood!

9 weeks - 2 months old!
Adrian is officially 2 months old and getting cuter by the minute (and I swear I am not bias). He is talking up a storm these days; in fact he is sitting right beside me talking at the moment. If only I knew what he was saying! I am sure he feels the same way when Mommy and Daddy chatter on to him.
We had a good visit in Stickney with Grammie and Grampie last week although I must say Adrian and I aren’t used to the heat generated by Grampie’s huge wood fires. It was like a tropical holiday there! (-: Friday night we went to Nanny and Grampie’s for supper and to meet Henry and Shirley from Boston. Again, Adrian was not lacking attention with all the eager family members around. Daddy was still busy building "Adrian’s toy shed" so Saturday we went to Moncton shopping. It took a little too much energy, both Mommy and Adrian were tired and a little grumpy at the end of the day!
Adrian dodged a bullet today when his doctor’s appointment for his first set of shots got cancelled. Unfortunately we have to do it on Thursday and Mommy is very nervous about having to hold her little bundle of joy down while he gets his needles! I am sure it will go well (as long as Mommy doesn’t pass out!).

8 weeks - getting noisy
Another week has flown by and Adrian is now 8 weeks old. He is getting even more alert and will spend an hour just looking at and "talking" to Mom or Dad when he is in the mood. And if Mom and Dad aren't paying attention at the moment he will sit and "talk" to himself. I am pretty sure he is working his way to a laugh and we are eagerly awaiting that.
Another development is Adrian seems to have perfected the pouty mouth and is working on his more robust crying skills. He sure was practicing a lot last night! S-:
It was a chilly fall weekend in Fredericton and Adrian spent most of it in the house with Mommy as Dad was outside building a shed with Grampie and friends. It will come in handy to store all of our baby gear so it will come in handy. Dad thinks the shed is for his tools but I am sure we will be able to fill it with toys for Adrian after Christmas!
We will be headed to Stickney for a few days this week to visit Grampie and Grammie while Dad is out of town.

7 weeks - Cooing is cute
We had another fun filled week starting with Adrian's third baby shower. Thanks to all of our friends at the Hanwell Community Church for such a nice evening and the lovely presents for Adrian.
We were lucky enough to enjoy 2 Thanksgiving dinners, one at Tony & Nancy Underhills' in Centerville and one at Nanny and Grampie's in Beaverdam. What a lovely warm and sunny weekend for visiting. Adrian and Barkley got to go on long walks all weekend.
Adrian has started to talk to Mommy and Daddy lately. It is so adorable. A typical conversation goes something like:
Adrian: "Ahh Goo"
Mommy: "Ahh Goo"
Adrian: "Ahh Goo!!"
And well you get the picture. (-:
